How we use the details you give us.

Who we are

We, KBI Capital, are the data controller for the information described in this notice. You can contact us about it at info@kbicapital.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send the enquiry form we collect your name, your email address, your telephone number if you choose to give it, whether you asked for the investor overview or a conversation first, which category of investor you told us you are, your consent to be contacted, and the date and time you sent the form. If you go on to confirm an investor category in writing, we keep that signed statement and its date, and a record of what we sent you against it and when.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to send you the material you asked for once you are entitled to receive it, to arrange a conversation if you asked for one, and to keep a record of what we sent you and when. Our lawful basis is your consent for the first contact, and our legitimate interest in keeping an accurate record of investor communications after that. Where the law on financial promotions requires us to hold a record of an investor statement and of what was sent against it, we hold that record because we are legally obliged to.

Who processes it

The form is delivered to us by Netlify, which hosts this site, and our emails to you are sent by Resend. Your record is held in HubSpot, which we use to keep track of investor conversations. Each of these providers processes your data only on our instructions and under a written agreement. Some of them process data outside the United Kingdom; where they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, and we can give you the details on request. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with anyone else.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not go further, we delete your details twelve months after our last contact with you. If you confirm an investor category, we keep the signed statement and the record of what we sent against it for six years after the last material it supported, because we are required to be able to show that each piece of investor material went only to a person entitled to receive it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw your consent to further contact, by writing to info@kbicapital.co.uk. We will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
